Description
Role Objective:
The overall objective of this role is to work within the Integrated Applications team to develop and support STWs IBM Middleware solutions (MessageBroker v7, IIB v10, DataPower v5 & v7).
The successful candidate will need a strong technical background within IIB and DataPower and must be able to create detailed designs, develop application components and interfaces and maintain them once delivered.
Duration - 3 Month (Possible extension) £450 per day pay - Coventry
Key Accountabilities:
Provide both analytical and programming experience
Resolve defects found in both Live and non-live environments. Clarify problems, which may need to be passed to other teams
Help manage and support the release of support fixes
Provide enhancements to applications and interfaces
Identify opportunities for continual improvements of both internal process and service
Technical Experience:
In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:
Essential:
Excellent Middleware development skills centred on the latest versions of Datapower and IIB
Working experience of DataPower v5 and Message Broker v7
ESQL
SQL
MQ
Windows and Unix platforms
Desirable:
Skills in the following technologies are desirable but not essential (can be gained through training):
WebServices, SOAP and REST, RESTful
Microsoft TFS
IBM API Manager
