DevOps Engineer
Our enterprise level client is looking for a talented DevOps engineer to join their team and create tools to turn manual tasks into efficient automated processes. Located in Vinings, this is a 6 month contract where you will be responsible for designing an infrastructure to ingest huge amounts of data as well as design and create tools to run applications in data centers around the world.
Not only will you work with a high visibility team, you will have the opportunity to make a huge impact within enterprise level organization and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies.
Required Skills
- Linux (RHEL/Centos preferred)
- Strong Scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go)
- Unix Scripting primitives, Unix and Network Security principles and configuration
- Cloud network configuration knowledge (VPN, VPC, Peering, etc)
- Service Monitoring
- Cloud infrastructure automation via Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
- Chef or Puppet
- Cassandra or DashDB advantageous but not required
- Build Automation via Jenkins (preferred), Bamboo or Travis
- DataDog, Zabbix or similar
- CDN understanding (Akamai or Level3)
- Container service such Docker and Docker-related technologies
- Kubernetes and Docker Swarm preferred but open to Docker compose, Consul etc experience
- Background/experience working with Big Data, Data Science or Analytics preferred but not mandatory
