Description

One of our leading clients within renewable energy is currently looking for a WTG Commissioning Engineer to work on an offshore wind farm project in the UK.

The WTG Commissioning Engineer role will be a direct report to the Commissioning Manager and the WTG Package Manager.

Principle Accountabilities:
  • Work alongside the WTG Package Manager and subcontractors to manage the Commissioning Activities for the Wind Farm Operators Offshore WTG's.
  • Manage all associated commissioning quality documentation files for WTG's including Snag lists.
  • Client witness and sign off for Commissioning.
  • Provide technical support for Project Senior Authorised Person/Safety Controller.
  • Ensure Asset Integrity of the WTG's during the Commissioning phase.
  • Weekly/Monthly reporting on Progress and Issues.
  • Liaise with Engineering and Quality Departments.
  • Work Offshore when required.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven Electrical Project Engineer/Commissioning Engineer in a Wind Farm Environment.
  • Offshore Wind Farm experience.
  • Self-starting with the ability to see the Bigger Picture'.
  • Proven track record in managing teams to achieve programme deliverables.
  • Electrical Engineering degree/HNC is an advantage.
  • All tickets required to work offshore-GWO Approved.
