Description
My Client based in London is looking for someone to:
Support the maintenance and development of Finance Data Analysis through (Crystal Reporting/SSRS) Systems administration for the main Finance Systems Including:
- Access Dimensions (Core Finance)
- Focal Point
- Pro Master
- Northgate, Star and Cascade
- Reporting (Crystal Reporting/SSRS)
- Other Finance/Payroll Systems
To liaise with stakeholders and external providers in the day to day use and maintenance of Access Dimensions & Focal Point, as well as Promaster, Northgate, Iris Donor Strategy, Star and Cascade including any regular administrative tasks.
- To maintain procedures for the effective backup, restoration and recovery of all databases and database driven applications.
- To be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of all databases and database driven applications.
- To maintain effective interfaces between the databases for which they are responsible and the Connexional database.
- Work closely with users to ensure that data consistency and accuracy is maintained and improved.
Customer Service
- To effectively engage business users, understand their issues and suggest suitable solutions;
- To attend regular meetings with other departments and to liaise with senior staff where required to discuss priorities and issues.
- To attend and contribute to the monthly team meetings to ensure that issues are understood, being progressed and on track to meet delivery dates.
Systems development and upgrades
- To support the Finance Systems Manager in preparing high level systems requirements and specifications of new business requirements or software improvements and to take a lead in identifying and evaluating potential new IT based business applications.
Support IT Function
- Maintaining SQL Server and performance.
- Configuring and linking SQL Servers
The Successful Candidate will need to be Educated to degree level or relevant experience, Able to work in an SQL server environment,Administration of a multi user database (adding new users, managing permissions and setting up profiles), Knowledge of CRM (eg Donor Strategy or Relational Databases).
