Description
For our client in the IT sector we are looking for an experienced Linux expert/architect who will work on Linux automation, deployment, migration and several other project activities for Cloud multi-customer Enterprise environments.

Some of the tasks of which the Linux expert/architect is responsible:
- L3-L4support on Linux SuSe & Redhat 7.0;
- Implement and maintain security base lines & compliancy & ITCF standards;
- Setup, implement & support Linux automation, deployment, Scripting within BMC BSA incl. packages and patching;
- Implement new roadmap features and standardization eg Redhat 7.0, Docker, DataCenter/Openshift;
- Linux PLM packaging & Linux E2E automation, infrastructure & architecture design.
In order to qualify for this job, you meet the following expectations:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent;
- 5+ years experience in Linux SuSe on expert/architectural level with SAP;
- Certified in Redhat RHCE 7.0 and/or Linux SuSe;
- 5+ years experience with Enterprise Linux environments;
- Experience with Bash Scripting;
- Business fluent in the English language;
- Experience with the following building blocks; Storage EMC vMax/EMC Datadomain/EMC; Networker/Network (Cisco), Firewalls (Juniper)/BMC Bladelogic;
- Knowledge of ITIL.
You will participate in a 7*24 hrs standby planning once per month to facilitate support if needed.
