Senior Test Analyst with knowledge in BaNCS Asset Servicing (Test Analyst Mainframe)
The ADM (Application Development and Maintenance) division ensures competitiveness by defining and delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets.
Role:
We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst with knowledge in BaNCS asset servicing processing.
You will join the Testing Team. Our mission covers the full project life cycle, from requirements analysis, through design and build, up to testing and post launch production support.
Your role
- Participate in the definition of the high level project test strategy
- Design test cases based on business functional, non functional and technical requirements
- Optimize the test approach after that detailed requirements are finalized
- Interview users, Business and IT Analysts and interpret requirements
- analyse test execution results and investigate defects
- Report the testing status to the test Manager and to other stake holders in the projects.
- Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Tests)
- Provide coaching and support of other test analysts of the team
- Review the test requirements and test cases written by other test analysts
- Ensure test environment is fit for use. Be the contact point for the technical support team.
Profile:
Skills required
MANDATORY:
- Knowledge into banking asset servicing domain
- Knowledge of TCS BaNCS product
- Mainframe knowledge
- Min 5y experience as Functional Test Analyst
- Functional knowledge into the banking sector of the Corporate Actions (TCS BaNCS application)
- Mercury Quality Centre/ALM (defect management and test definition) or equivalent
- Testing ISEB or ISTQB foundation or equivalent experience
- Familiar with Methodology standards (Agile, SCRUM)
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong analysis/investigation skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Fluent in English
Assets
- Overall MVS/zOS Mainframe knowledge (DB2, Ca7, MQ, JCL, ISPF/SDSF, PLI or Cobol, FileAID, changeMan, Cortex, SQL language )
- Experience in a Financial Services company
- Asset servicing functional background (Tax, New Issues, Income, Corporate Actions)
