CA Certificate Specialist - Sussex - Contract
A requirement has arisen for a specialist to help out and provide assistance on a CA Opportunity, please see the job details below.
My client is running a 2012 Root CA (Singular, no sub's), however their Root certificate has been moved from the old CA setup, as it is still using Microsoft Key Storage Provider as the Provider. This means that they cannot upgrade their old CSP/SHA-1 certs to KSP/SHA-2/256 etc.
They believe you can provide an in-place upgrade; however, their preference is to create a new 2-tiered approach, which should keep the current certificates valid, until such time when they are able to issue new certs and supersede the old ones. (Essentially upgrade current CA into an offline root and create a new sub-ordinate)
