Senior ION MarketView Integration and Support Specialist sought by leading Investment Bank based in the City of London.
Essential experience for the role:
.
Excellent ION Market View platform knowledge (Daemons, Routers, MMI's, market data gateways, connectivity gateways, STP and RFP gateways, VMO/VMQ, Client templates, Explorer, RFQ modelling, PerfMeter usage, SysAdmin, PXE and Refdata etc ) - 6+yrs
.
Strong Fixed Income knowledge is required (global financial product knowledge, bond pricing, etc ) - 5+yrs
.
Strong hardware and networking skills is required ( NAS/SAN storage, performance tuning, Firewall, Switches, Routers, Leased Lines, Network layers and protocols, etc ) - 4+yrs
Responsibilities:
.
Maintain/support/enhance the FIC RBC ION Market View platform including (but not exclusive to)
.
Upgrade ION components on a regular schedule for stability
.
Work with Front Office technology teams and assist in driving new projects and development
.
Work with Brokers for eTrading connectivity
.
Work with infrastructure to ensure optimal platform performance
.
Maintain the ION platform hardware for optimal performance
