For our client we are currently looking for a SAP Technical Architect to report to the project organization during the program and then moved into the existing organization reporting to the Operations & Support Director.
Based in Paris - with mobility needed to travel to Florence, Milano, Lugano and travelling in Europe when required

Your Skills
- Computer Science/Information Technology Degree or equivalent
- Understanding of industry best practice for SAP Enterprise Architecture
- Understanding of key business processes in Retail and Luxury
- 8 - 10 years in Information Technology
- Experience in the definition and management of SAP Infrastructure Architecture blueprints and roadmaps to meet strategic needs of businesses in the Fashion Industry
- Proven SAP Architecture and technical leadership, with a possible background in development.
- Technical understanding of SAP applications stack, including FICO, SD, MM, PP, FSCM, PI, Hana, and BI.
- Thorough understanding of business process interrelationships between SAP modules.
- Thorough understanding of SAP application/technical security and its integration into existing security systems.
- Thorough understanding of Integrating SAP and related non-SAP applications into the existing infrastructure.
- Ability to partner with domain architects to develop the end to end solution architecture including: application, infrastructure, data, integration and security domains.
- Ability to identify and define infrastructure architecture components as new requirements arise
- Ability to define the complete infrastructure environment
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of all relevant infrastructure technology developments and seek opportunities to deploy new technologies that benefit the client
- Ability to map business requirements to technology capability
- Ability to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional, technical, and performance requirements
- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve system maintenance activity issues and risks, escalating them as needed
- Ability to review technical documentation to verify compliance with business requirements and established architectural standards and guidelines
Your Tasks
- Design the technical architecture of the project including Hana Database architecture and all other required components together with the System Integrator and other technical architects
- Design the Security architecture and management together with the System Integrator and other technical architects
- Design the Landscape Management
- Performs hardware sizing and capacity planning as required to support the solution
- Helps define the performance goals and metrics for the proposed solution.
- Works with other architects and designers to ensure that the infrastructure components (Server, Storage, Database, etc.) are integrated as defined in the requirements.
- Works closely with the Business Solutions team and the application architects ensuring that the architecture meets the business requirements and performance goals as defined by the client's long-term direction.
- Reviews and integrate the infrastructure architecture requirements for production and non-production environments
- Challenge architecture proposals made by the integrator or other third parties
- Works with the operations team to determine how the infrastructure is supported in production, including back-ups, disaster recovery and system performance
- Liaise with hosting provider and managed services provider
- Works with other architects on enterprise architectural efforts, utilizing cross-functional knowledge (strategy, change management and business process management).
- Provides technology architecture direction and guidance to other architects and technical staff Partner with Infrastructure architecture and delivery team
