Collateral Management Analyst - Tier One Asset Management Bank, London, 6 months.
My client, a Tier 1 Asset Management Custodial Bank, is looking for a Collateral Management Analyst to join their team in London on an initial 6 month contract.
Responsibilities
The Collateral Management Operations Analyst will be responsible for the full front to back daily margin call process for specific clients:
- Performing Data Quality analysis prior to issuing margin calls
- Margin Call issuance and responding to incoming margin calls
- Booking of eligible Credit Support (Free of Payment cash)
- Dispute resolution through portfolio reconciliation
- Monthly interest settlements
- Perform and respond to control reporting to ensure effective break/fails and exception management
- Support the daily margin process across OTC, Repo and Futures. This includes: issuing and responding to calls in accordance with notification times, investigating exceptions and escalating disputes as agreed with clients. Respond quickly and accurately to requests in a high volume, time sensitive trading environment.
- Review and setup of client collateral terms found in ISDA, or similar docs.
- Initiate collateral payments in accordance with controls, manage settlement instructions and track payments through settlement.
- Process cash transactions through internal systems.
- Resolve breaks for any settlement issues related to collateral activity.
- Direct month-end collateral interest process from reconciliation to settlement.
- Oversee margin reconciliations and resolution of breaks, counterparties and internal partners to resolve disputes and reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, internal groups and external counterparties
Experience
