Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in Bristol, initially until April 2017 offering up to £320 per day Ltd.
Main Duties:
The position will have shared responsibilities for commercial interface and dependencies across three Cased Telescoped Cannon & Ammunition (CTCA) related programmes, CTCA Supply, Specialist Vehicle (SV) and the Warrior CSP (WCSP) Contracts.
The post holder is responsible to the SV and WCSP Senior Commercial Officers for mitigating risks to timely SV & WCSP demonstration phase vehicle trials activity and commercial management of CTCA related Contract Change Proposals: i) uplift the CTCA baseline build standard (to BS0065) and; ii) agreement of SV contract changes for Airburst, Burst Rate of Fire and Auto Correction of Fire and; ii) uplift of the CTCA baseline build standard (to BS008 - Production standard).
The post holder will have shared responsibilities for monitoring and maintaining commonality of the CTCA related items on SV, and WCSP and informing SCOs of any impacts these programmes resulting from issues with development or delivery of CTCA common integration systems or equipment.
