Description:
- Assist the Organization in migrating all Exchange services to Microsoft Office365 in order to decommission all Exchange Servers;
- Define and document the minimum infrastructure needed on-site at CLIENT HQ for managing and monitoring email hosted at Microsoft Office365 in a non-hybrid configuration and with a Skype for Business infrastructure;
- Review monitoring of Exchange infrastructure (SCOM) and define updated monitoring parameters for integration into server monitoring framework;
- Perform traffic/performance analysis between CLIENT and Microsoft Office365 and document recommendations for performance improvements;
- Define the Exchange decommissioning procedure (includes the Exchange CCR cluster (Exch2007), Exchange DAG (Exch. 2013), Exchange Public Folders (Exch. 2007) and individual Servers (Exch. ).
Essential Requirements
- Worked on large Enterprise AD environments (10+Domains);
- Strong Active Directory knowledge including GPO management and Disaster Recovery;
- Experience with Active Directory planning and migration for large scale environments;
- Expert knowledge of server related protocols and Active Directory infrastructure including DNS, Wins, LDAP, SMTP and GPO management;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrator in virtualization technologies (creation of virtual instances, management of virtualization console) in VMware or Hyper-V;
- Experience with server Backup tools like NetBackup, BackupExec, Simpana or others;
- Certifications from a recognized organization (MCSA, MCSE) in a relevant field of expertise;
- Excellent English (written and spoken) language skills with the ability to express complex technical matters: level C
