Your tasks:
- Lead a team of individual contributors (responsible and accountable for deliverables and performance)
- Proactive problem management, data analysis (alerts, tickets etc.) and reporting
- Responsible for escalated support & ITIL Processes Management, for contractual deliverables and for technology problem management, knowledge management, escalated support, L2 Incident Management and technology operations performance of the team
- Achieve defined performance levels while respecting customer delivery and implement support and quality processes as per practice framework
- Focus on enabling quality deliverables and enhancing customer satisfaction, identify and implement initiatives to contribute to productivity improvement and ensure effective communication with the client stakeholders
- Interface with community network to retain technology competitiveness and work with the client team to address escalations
- Implement change requests and engineering tasks and lead the technical discussions in customer governance calls
Your qualifications
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a resilient and flexible manner and understand and articulate complex problems related to the specific technology
- Large enterprise deployment experience in complex heterogeneous environments and excellent influencing and facilitation skills, in particular problem solving/troubleshooting activities
- ITIL understanding/certification
- Strong experience with SAN (Storage Area Network), backup technology, re-image or restoring backups remotely
- Fluent German and English language skills (written, spoken) are a must (Berlitz level C2 language quality)
- Experience with Reporting & Data Mining for analysis
- Act as buddy Manager for new hires
- Hands on experience with TSM, Simpona commvault, software, on HP Tape library & Falconstore administration and storage with NetApp, HP EVA/MSA P2000, DataCore, Hitachi & HP MSA2000
- Experience with Backup, Restore & Administration using TSM (Physical), Veeam & VMware data protection, Simpana Commvault, HP data protector
- Basic knowledge of Patching & Remediation
