Operations Controller/Finance graduate
One of our large financial clients is currently looking for a Operations Controller/Finance graduate
Securities Operations Control team performs various control and reporting activities in support of Global Securities Operations, securities processing utility. We also have an increasing regulatory oversight role supporting multiple lines of business.
The Control Analyst is responsible for performing various control, regulatory and reporting processes within Global Securities Operations Control. They will also support Senior Control Analysts in developing/creating MI and delivering business change.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking day to day processes of the Securities Operations Control group
- Participation in projects and/or the introduction of new initiatives, systems and processes.
- Design custom reports and business analytics that will be useful for business users at all levels
- Timely and high quality reporting of risk and control MI
- Liaising with both internal and external departments to ensure effective query resolution.
- To question practices and procedures, identifying areas of potential risk that require investigation
- Administration of online applications used by the business
- Supporting the delivery of key projects and business change with Global Securities Operations Control
- Identifying opportunities for development or improvement of existing processes and controls within GSO
- Maintaining effective working relationships with all lines of defence to promote and improve the understanding of SOCs role in the organisation
- Developing, monitoring and reviewing internal MI processes to support business objectives
Skills
Ideally banking or financial experience or similar
Cash regulation or regulation knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Able to use own initiative
May suit a recent fiancé graduate or similar
