Senior BI ETL/DWH Developer
Amsterdam, NL
My client, a global management consultancy, is currently hiring a Senior BI ETL/DWH Developer to work specifically on one of their biggest projects in Amsterdam.
Start Date: 23.01.2017
End Date: 31.12.2017 (possible extension)
Languages: Dutch (Essential), English
The senior BI/DWH specialist is part of the project team, working closely with colleagues and other stakeholders both within and outside the project team.
In addition to the role, the developer must be able to act as a replacement in case of absence of the architect/lead developer and co-creator and guardian of the principles, the architecture and the standards of the facility. Has knowledge and understanding of the source systems and data structures and relationships between them. Builds and maintains data models and data transformations.
Develop and maintain reports. Advises on the impact of changes or improvements, and enables connection to other systems and departments whilst providing first-line support to users. This may require the use of tools, interpretation of data or specific information questions.

Required Experience:
- 4 years+ working experience with DWH system (functional and technical), and knowledge of all the (technical) data warehouse components over the past six years.
- 2 years+ working experience with BIML, MS and MDS
- 4 years+ proven knowledge and experience in the field of information analysis, data analysis and dimensional modelling/Datamodelling in the past 6 years.
- 4 years+ proven hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or 2012, SSIS and SQL Server Database and Transact-SQL in a DWH/BI environment in the past 6 years.
- 2 years+ working experience with SSRS and SSAS
- Minimum 1 years working experience with Data Vault in the past 4 years.
- Minimum 1 years working experience in performing system and integration testing in the past six years
