Software Tester (MiFID II, Python, Perl, Linux, Finance, Banking)
Our well known financial client is looking for a Software Tester for Trade reporting Service (MiFID II) for a long term contract in Prague. This position will challenge your technical skills and provide opportunities for improvement and growth as well as an insight into the financial market.
Key skills:
- Experience in building automated testing frameworks and respective regression test tools in distributed environment using Python, Perl or similar Scripting language.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Software Testing
- Experience working with release procedures, test methodologies and QA processes
- Ability to derive test cases from functional and/or technical specifications
- Familiarity with Linux
- Excellent understanding of functional and technical interfaces (AMQP, GBP)
- Good understanding of Trade Reporting (MiFID II) business would be a plus
- Past experience working with Real Time systems would be a plus
- Critical thinking - the ability to analyse, evaluate and propose solution
- English is essential, German will be beneficial
- Financial services experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
The successful candidates responsibilities will include reviewing specifications, preparing test cases and test models, design and implement scripts for test automation and of course the actual test execution (manual or automated)
