Modelling Actuary/Systems Actuary
We are currently looking to hire a contract actuary to work on actuarial modelling and systems upgrades. This is a great opportunity for an individual with excellent knowledge and experience of providing actuarial modelling and analytical services. You will play a key role in a large systems transformation.
Responsibilities;
- Actuarial Modelling (Prophet and MG-alfa)
- Spreadsheet rationalisation/Manipulation.
- Draft sections of actuarial reports
- Maintain the actuarial systems, packages and spreadsheets used in line with departmental governance.
- Assist with the testing and implementation of any approved system changes
- Provide support to actuarial projects
Person specification;
- Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Actuary
- Good MG-Alfa, Prophet or MoSes experience
- Advanced Excel
- Excellent Systems background.
