Qualifications
Storage
*Provisioning storage on NetApp filers
*NetApp Cdot 8.x 9.x
*SAN Fiber Channel technologies
*Networking knowledge (such as routing, VLAN, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI).
*NetApp Scripting CLI
*NetApp StorageGRID
Backup
*Advanced experience with Commvault including designing, implementing, scheduling and troubleshooting in large backup environments
*Planning and executing migration from other backup platforms to Commvault
*Advanced experience with Commvault agents for Databases such as SQL, SharePoint and Exchange
*Understanding of Disaster Recovery planning and recovery techniques
*Experience working with various backup targets such as tape, disk, and cloud (AltaVault)
Other Skills:
*Cisco Fibre Channel Switches
*Brocade Fibre Channel Switches
*Powershell
*MS Hyper-V, Failover clustering and Highly availability
*VMware vSphere (ESX and VMware VirtualCenter)
Expectations:
*Knowledgeable of high availability concepts for systems, databases, and applications
*Good project management skills. Ability to plan, organize and direct the testing of emergency response, recovery support, and business resumption procedures
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability of training users in complex topics and making presentations to internal groups
*Good documentation and oral communication skills
*Independent problem solving; self-directed, self-starting
