Our Client, one of the world's foremost Telco companies, is looking to recruit an End to End Solution Designer to join their business in Hook, Hampshire.

The End to End Solution Designer is typically assigned to multiple projects, translating the Requirements and High Level Architecture into a Solution Design

This role delivers the overall technical E2E IT solution design for the given projects.

• Experience of E2E Solution Design for new Business Telco products, covering:-
  • MLE and some SoHo/SME products
  • Sales / Customer systems (bespoke and SalesForce)
  • Pricing / Quote / Order Capture (new SoHo/SME stack and legacy stack (in house developed)
  • Order Management systems (legacy FORCE or new Cloudsense for SoHo /SME)
  • Service Management - Remedy
  • Billing systems - Mediation (Evident), rating & billing (IRB), invoicing (RRD), eBilling (myBill portal), financial reporting & reconciliation
  • OSS - Netcool, NMMi, Cramer, performance monitoring, Rizzo

    • Ability to interact with busy colleagues and technical team members to gain an understanding on any open technical aspects of a solution and to understand/agree the information the team requires to be contained within the Solution Design
• The ability to make decisions on major technical and delivery issues
• Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills, and is comfortable at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations
• A broad understanding across the whole of the software life cycle with a record of having applied the knowledge successfully in a variety of situations. Has a comprehensive knowledge of software process models and quality assurance
• Confidence in ability to build on pre-existing Telco knowledge and rapidly understand the specific systems used by reviewing documentation, interacting with colleagues (Solution Designers/Architects/Development Teams/BAs/etc.) and 3 rd party suppliers, complemented by own research
• Recent Solution Design/Architecture experience in a Telco environment, preferably 3+ years on a variety of projects
• Previous experience in specific areas relevant to the project
• Good knowledge of software principles and design experience with relevant platforms
• Experience of UML design principles
• Proven experience of working with technical teams at all levels, from design through to development and implementation
• Able to coordinate design decisions for systems to be delivered by multiple suppliers, both internal and external.
• Ability to lead design discussions, internally or with third party vendors
• Understanding of development methodology and software development
