Description

Purpose of the role

To work with our enterprise customers to analyse, specify and implement Skype for Business Solutions.

Key accountabilities

Skype Architecture

    • Architecture and Design and Implementation of Customers Skype for Business/Lync Solutions
    • Network analysis, design and implementation with a focus on UC
  • 3Rd Level Escalation for UC, UM and Skype issues

Customer, Company and Project Management

    • Lead Projects from a Technical perspective
  • Meet with C-Level client contacts to analyse requirements and brief on technology and solutions
  • Present Skype solutions to Customers and at Customer Events
  • Experience of working with sponsors, stakeholders and solution providers.

Documentation and Information Management

    • Work with Sales team on technical elements of tender responses
  • Produce SOW's, HLD's and LLD's for customers
  • Documentation of Customers existing and new Skype and Network Infrastructure
  • Creation of Site Survey Reports

Task execution and performance:

  • Architect, Design and Implement Enterprise Skype for Business solutions
  • Transition Skype solutions from Project to BAU and handover to Service Desk
    • Annalise current Infrastructure and recommend solutions to deliver business requirements
    • Plan, Deploy and maintain lab environments simulating customer's environment s
  • Migrate customers from Legacy PBX solutions to Skype for Business platform
    • Mentor and up-skill internal resources on Skype platform and solutions
    • Tier 3 Skype Issue resolution and handling escalations from Tier2
  • Carry out daily tasks to a professional and high standard in alignment with KPIs defined for the team.
  • Updating and maintaining internal business systems which are used for project control
    • Work in office, remotely and on customer site
    • Attend sales meetings as required
    • Perform ad hoc tasks to meet unanticipated events or user requirements
  • Assist with other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
  • CPD:
    • Ongoing self-improvement through experience, training and certification and ensure that all certification and accreditation are kept up to date
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and proposing opportunities for improvement and growth

This role is based in the Dublin office but the role holder will be required to travel.

Qualifications:

Essential: MCSE-Communications; MCSA-Windows

Desirable: Microsoft Certifications (Exchange, Azure O365); Cisco Certifications; Sonus Certifications; VMware Certifications
