My client a global media company based in Central London is looking for a Fluent Japanese Speaking Service Desk Analyst. The role is working in a great environment and in a friendly team.
Role:
- To provide first and some second line IT support to the customer's international businesses both in Japanese and English
- Ensure all problems and requests are recorded, monitored and resolved in a timely efficient manner
- Take ownership of incidents
- Ability to translate technical information into a language the customer understand
Environment
- The Service desk supports over 3000 internal employees
- The Service Desk is made up mainly of contractors and they need to replace one of them.
- Successful applicant will be required to be versatile, prepared to work in a challenging work environment and open to new challenges
- Great team environment
Requirements
- Proven track record of working in an IT support environment. PC hardware, Software and operating systems (ie Windows XP - moved to Windows 7 now so this is ideal
- Resolving the incidents, where possible, using predefined scripts, remote control software and the Knowledge Base to the customer's complete satisfaction.
- Strong experience supporting Active Directory and Exchange 2003
- MS Office, In particular possessing excellent Outlook knowledge
- Blackberry enterprise Activation & Sync issuesd
- Scanning documents, Burning CDs and DVDs
