Infrastructure Solutions Design Architect - London - TOGAF, Citrix
Square one are looking for a Specialist in infrastructure technology, architecture and design required to assist a technical solution architecture review starting immediately on an initial 6 week project based in London with some travel to Ireland which will be expensed.
The purpose of the role is to assess the fit-for-purpose of the client's technical infrastructure, identifying and prioritising risks, issues and gaps and creating remedial recommendations. This covers areas such as (but not necessarily limited to) hardware, system software, data management technology, security, network and communications.
This includes focus on assessing non-functional requirements and principles eg recoverability, availability, scalability, security, efficiency, flexibility, and performance, as well as looking for evidence of architectural standards, patterns and policies.
Experience of TOGAF qualifications and Citrix are desirable but not essential.
Roles and responsibilities:
Work with the application architect and engagement lead to define and plan the assessment framework and the design of the final documented deliverable (report) template
Attend kick off meetings with the client and use this to help plan the work and to identify key client staff for interviews
Both lead and support client interviews (depending on content). Leverage experience and expertise to ask questions that will support the identification of issues, risks or gaps. Discuss good practice and identify if this is not being followed.
Review client documented materials where these can assist the assessment
Document findings against the assessment templates
Identify and document remedial recommendations
This is an initial 6 week contract based in London starting immediately paying excellent daily rates.
