Pex Practitioner/Warwick/6 months Contract/Up To £420 Per Day

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pex Practitioner to start a 6 month contract based in Warwick.

The Role

To create value for Customers and the Company by engaging team members and managers in Performance Excellence, building their capability so that we embed and sustain a Performance Excellence culture.

To deploy the Performance Excellence way of working in order that teams can continually improve processes and performance in a sustainable way and then ensuring that best practice is standardised across teams

Job Dimensions

Directly responsible for Coaching and Capability build of Managers and Team Members within their direct support up to Skilled level of the Practitioner capability framework

Directly responsible for delivering Performance Excellence training to all team members being supported and some classroom training in support of the Practitioner and Operational Leadership training

Key Tasks

To support the Business Entity in sustaining Performance Excellence standards into the future.

To build sustainable Performance Excellence behaviours and capability required of team members and managers through coaching and training up to Skilled level across the whole Performance Excellence Practitioner capability framework.

Improve processes and team performance during Performance Excellence deployments and subsequent improvements to meet the Continuous Improvement Roadmap

Support, coach, mentor and train teams to enable continuous improvement of processes and performance post deployment of Performance Excellence

Establish sustainable and effective performance discussions, subsequently monitoring and escalating poor performance

Ensure the standardisation of best practice across teams within the Business Entity

Use appropriate methodologies for problem solving and support teams across the Business Entity to solve problem they identify

Ensure the escalation process for problem solving is effective across the Business Entity.

Drive the Business Entity improvement projects, risks, issues and benefits

Share best practice in the wider Performance Excellence community

Deliver, as required by the Business Entity, Performance Excellence training for all classroom courses (ie Practitioner, Operational Leadership, Master classes etc.)

Ensure that process improvement activities align to the requirements of the Operate the System process

Identify and understand all customer needs/requirements and focus improvement actions on the processes that are falling short of satisfying these needs/requirements.

Ensure all employees capability is maintained within the function eg ensuring new employees are trained appropriately

Essential Experience

Strong understanding of Performance Excellence (or alternative Lean principles) and associated tools and techniques

The ability to identify complex problems and challenges, analyse the root cause and identify, test and implement appropriate solutions through utilisation of advanced problem solving and lean skills

Knowledge of Project Management approaches

The ability to build good relationships at all levels across the business

The ability to mentor, coach and train others The ability to organise, plan and facilitate workshops

Qualifications Required

Degree (or equivalent), or relevant experience

Green Belt in Six Sigma and/or Lean (desirable)

Orange Belt in Facilitative Leadership/Creative Problem Solving (desirable)
