Description
Modis are immediately recruiting for an Automotive Electrical System Integration engineer.
Based close to Guildford, the client not only works with a large Automotive OEM but also have independent projects that they design, develop and manufacture for their Design & Engineering Technical Centre.
The client is looking for an experienced Electrical System Integration engineer with a solid understanding of design, development and validation of electrical modules and software for automotive applications following V-cycle engineering approach.
As well as this, having prior experience within System architecture definition & requirements capture would be beneficial as would communications interface development including vehicle networks using CAN/LIN protocols.
Key to the role:
*Practical knowledge of CANalyzer/CANape and MATLAB/Simulink
*Experience of full product life cycle activities and ability to achieve cost, weight and technical targets within specified timescales
*Analysis, Boundary Diagrams etc
*Generating engineering specifications
*Automotive Electrical Systems design requirement capture and validation experience
