Configuration/Deployment Manager

Contract - 2 Years +
€440 - €480 per day
Nature of Tasks:
The chosen person will be integrated in the team between development and production.
The main tasks are:
- Deploy applications in the production environment;
- Install and maintain applications server configurations (Middleware);
- Advice program manager and developers about best practices;
- Help program manager and developers to debug production applications;
- Document installations, configurations and procedures;
- Automate as much as possible deployments on application Servers by writing automated scripts (Shell ) and the relevant documentation.
- Together with the local system administrator maintain the monitoring system and performance management
Specific Expertise:
- Oracle WebLogic (installation, configuration, deployments )
- Apache
- A thorough knowledge of Solaris and/or Linux environments
- Adobe (installation, configuration, deployments, )
- Builds and continuous integration
- Unix Scripting
