Contract network engineer 11 Months Dublin.
My client a global leader in their business is in urgent need of a talented and experienced network engineer to join their group on an 11 month contract.
Candidates will have in-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise. You will be expected to provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery.
Successful candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Candidates will be Cisco CCNP qualified, preferably Routing and Switching. You will Possess and routinely apply a broad knowledge of network related processes and procedures to the completion of complex assignments. You will have advanced knowledge of network performance, hardware and software. it will be expected that you will serves as a resource to others in the resolution of highly complex problems. You have an ability to consistently apply broad knowledge of network administration to the diagnoses and resolution of network problems. You will have a strong knowledge of security issues and implications to network solutions. You will also have advanced knowledge of network dynamic routing protocols - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP. My client will expect that you have advanced knowledge of network WAN technologies - MPLS, VPLS, IP SLA and advanced knowledge of Cisco Systems Products (Routers and Switches) and F5 load balancing and Force 10 and Dell Powerconnect products. You will have DNS & DHCP understanding, experience of BlueCat an advantage. You will have Network Optimisation knowledge, Silverpeak experience an advantage.. Possesses knowledge and experience in monitoring tools along the lines of TCP decode and Sniffer TCP traces, Wireshark.
