Infrastructure Specialist/Technical Lead
Fullstack London is currently on the lookout for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist/Technical Lead on behalf of a leading banking/finance client based in Central London.
The Infrastructure Specialist/Technical Lead will work in a team that has responsibility for all non-production development and testing systems to support all change within the bank. The core responsibilities within this team are to build and support non-production environments but also to improve the way they are delivered to better support the related projects and activities.
Some of the essential experience needed for this role are:
- Linux installation, administration, configuration and package management
- Web Server technologies (Apache, JBoss)
- Databases (Oracle, SQL)
- Network/Firewall skills with a thorough understanding of TCP/IP
- Security
Ideally you will have the following experience also however it's not a necessary requirement of the role:
- SOAP (messaging/API/XML)
- Hardware
- Strong Scripting experience (Unix Shell/Perl) with a focus on automation
This is an excellent contract for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist/Technical Lead - initially for 6 months - working onsite at a leading Retail Bank. If you're interested and would like to apply please send me your CV ASAP.
