Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer IMMEDIATE START!
Amoria Bond are looking for an experienced Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer to join our European client, based from their site in South Wales on an initial 3 months contract with the likelihood of extensions.
The successful Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer will be joining a diverse team on their latest projects working on the latest cutting edge technology. This role will be an ideal fit for some one looking to be involved in projects from initial concept through the complete life cycle.
The successful Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer should be able to demonstrate a combination of the following skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Experience with writing Embedded 'C' firmware
* Strong experience working with microcontrollers (STM32/ARM Cortex preferably)
* Debugging code on the target hardware with JTAG tools
* A motivated self starter that is keen to learn new techniques
Desirable:
* Familiarity with Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth Smart)
* Previous experience with Android app development
* Knowledge of writing Windows 8 console applications for testing using Bluetooth LE API
* Knowledge of writing Android test apps using Bluetooth LE API calls
* Experience with GPS & Bluetooth modules is desirable
