Infrastructure/Citrix Engineer (AppV)
One of our global clients is urgently seeking a Citrix Engineer with expertise in AppV to join their multinational team in a progressive environment for a well-paying 6 months contract in Prague.
Project will cater for the design, build, testing and implementation of Windows Server 2016-ready Citrix Platform. It will also assure the application readiness and upgrade the business services hosted on the current platform.
The ideal Citrix Engineer will have the following experience:
- Strong in software packaging, software virtualization (AppV 5.x), Windows Server 2008R2 and higher, Windows software reverse engineering, debugging tools, server-based computing.
- Familiar with Windows 2016, Citrix XenApp (7.11 or higher), VMware vSphere, agile approach, continuous improvement, DSF.
- 5+ years of software virtualization and packaging in multi user environments. (RDS, Citrix, )
- High school/University degree oriented to computer/technical area is preferred
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships
- Fluent English language
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of existing software packages used in existing Windows 2008R2-based environment.
- Maintain packaging environment.
- Repackaging into new format (AppV 5.x or newer)
- Package TAT
- Basic functionality testing.
- Documenting of findings, steps and decisions, incl. references.
- Active planning with internal teams.
