A global leading manufacturing company is now looking for a Goods Inwards Quality Technician to join their growing company based in West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a competitive salary and high levels of job security.
Main Role and Responsibilities:
+ To carry out Goods Inward inspection for all component parts entering the company ensuring compliance with design specification and contractual requirements.
+ To interpret engineering drawings and models to enable Inspector to programme PC-DMIS, allowing measurement and reports to be generated
+ To review all external First Article Inspection Reports to ensure they have been completed to the required standard and that they are fully compliant to the relevant specification requirements
Main Skills and Experience required:
+ Engineering related qualification
+ Experience in a quality/engineering environment
+ Working experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings, including GD&T
+ Understanding of ISO9001- highly desirable but not necessary
+ Experience using PC-DMIS
