Description
A global Renewable Energy client is looking for a number of Service Technicians Level 4 & Level 7 to work on their offshore wind farm project. We are looking for 4 Consultants to work as Level 7 technicians, and 6 Consultants to work as Level 4 technicians. We are looking for the individuals to be able to start this 6 month freelance contract from 1st April 2017 up until approx. 30th October 2017 with the possibility of extending further thereafter. Flexible shift pattern, normally 12 hrs. a day, 7 days a week shift pattern for a maximum two weeks on duty followed by two weeks off duty.Tasks:
Perform service and maintenance on 3.6MW offshore wind turbines
Qualifications of Candidates:
Must have:
- Full GWO training for offshore working (working at height, sea survival, first aid, manual handling).
- Full offshore in date ENG1 Medical certificate or an Oil/Sea/Gas + step test medical.
- Level 4 and 7 & Competent Technician under Siemens requirements.
- Experience on Siemens 3.6 MW WTGS.
- Siemens WTSR certificate.
- SWP 3.6MW Lvl 4 competence.
Special Provisions:
The Consultants will be required to bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone iPhone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows phone 8.1.
The Consultants must have his/her own PPE equipment (Personal Protection Equipment).
