Description
Resource 1 is seeking an experienced Security and Compliance (SECO) analyst to work on a contract basis in our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office. This person will support the IT organization on a broad range of tasks related to cyber security, vulnerability management, disaster recover, internal controls, and audit compliance. Ultimately, the SECO analyst will be facilitating the identification and mitigation of risk to the company. This position requires a mix of IT security domain knowledge, IT infrastructure experience, and project management skills.
- Partner with corporate security and IT staff to implement new IT security management tools
- Develop a security management operating model for the operating company
- Execute daily monitoring of IT environment, identify new threats and vulnerabilities, drive actions to mitigate
- Implement metrics for security and risk, report performance to leadership team and corporate
- Collaborate with the Dover corporate security and IT teams to stay abreast of security trends and new risks to the environment
- Develop communication materials to educate colleagues on security threats and responses
- Own Disaster Recover (DR) plans, work with site and infrastructure resources to update and test
- Support quarterly user access reviews at our US locations
- Perform oversight of application user account creation to ensure compliance with internal controls
- Respond to internal and external audit findings, document action plans, and track to closure
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in IT Security
- Basic understanding of Cybersecurity technologies
- Good knowledge of IT networking and server technologies
- Significant experience in a project-based environment, ideally some direct project management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
