Description
iSource IT are currently engaged with a key client to recruit an Information Security Analyst. The successful applicant will be responsible for day to day Information Security incident handling, while at the same time maintaining compliance to group security policies and standards. The perfect candidate will have good security awareness and have experience of vulnerability management and reporting.
Key Accountabilities:
- Co-ordinate and assist in the development of projects and initiatives ensuring Information Security is considered throughout the project life cycle
- Vulnerability and Security analysis, monitoring, reporting and assessment using specialist products
- Act as a technical security advisor, and provide support in developing the technical security posture of the organisation.
- Support IT Service Governance in the execution of relevant risk assessments for applications and infrastructure.
- Act as a technical mentor in own field of expertise.
- Maintain the first of compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance
Key Skills and Experience:
- Formal qualification(s) in Information Security (eg CISSP or CISM) are desirable
- Relevant Information Security experience.
- Good working knowledge of formal project life cycle methodologies.
- Must be customer-focused and have the ability to communicate at various levels.
- Previous experience of vulnerability assessment.
- Previous experience of risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of Security assessment tools.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Understanding of security related products.
- Knowledge of Software Asset Management.
