Dev Ops Architect - Automation / Software / Infrastructure - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Architect to join our Zurich based client within the financial sector. The role involves working closely with technical teams and business users to modernise existing infrastructure and services.Your experience/skills:
- Proven expertise in software development and software development lifecycle along proficiency in automation and configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Salt, etc.)
- Automation and Open Source experience
- Infrastructure design know-how
- Service Orientated architecture
- Holistic view of technology
- Shell, PowerShell and / or Python experience
- Ability to access a topic from a complete view along with good analytical, conceptual skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Optimizing existing infrastructure and methodologies, including transforming existing configuration management from imperative into declarative model
- Working together with the team to transform the organization into DevOps shop
- Consulting application and infrastructure developers on the given tasks
- Cooperating with developers by suggesting new ideas of infrastructure within and outside of the team and coding the ideas
