Description
QA Tester with profound knowledge of Android and iOS Development wanted for one of our Zurich based clients in the IT service sector.Your experience/skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field along with solid work experience in testing software products within a mobile environment
- Extensive experience with Android and iOS platforms and related technologies as well as excellent knowledge of at least one programming / scripting language
- Very good know-how of Unix / Linux besides familiarity with software development and deployment best practice
- Strong ability in writing comprehensive test plans and corresponding test cases as well as ability to realize complex systems and prioritize issues
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining test plans and suites together with engineering team as well as performing manual testing of Android and iOS applications
- Documenting comprehensive bug reports and working with the engineering team to prove closure
- Detecting bugs and implementing engineering rigor to reproduce and diagnose them, writing brief and descriptive bug reports to present them to the engineering team
- Gathering bug reports from users and filing the reports accordingly
- Supporting the team to develop a manual testing plan, which include all functional areas of the App.
