We are currently seeking a (Salesforce.com) QA Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity for a system or operations professional looking to gain first-hand experience across the fast-growing Global online space.
The Salesforce QA engineer will be responsible for delivering a high-quality product to our end users. The role will include functional testing, unit testing, deployment testing, security testing, manual testing and developing an automated testing framework to support the delivery of an enterprise level Salesforce implementation.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of regression and functional testing, device and document test schedules, create test cases, establish protocols and appropriate testing environments
Design, document, develop, maintain and scale complex testing frameworks to ensure successful, on-time deployments via continuous integration - JIRA, Git, Selenium, Jenkins.
Collaborate with development team throughout the software development life cycle to estimate, prioritize and execute testing activities in-line with release schedule
Identify, report and monitor bugs found from testing to development to resolution
Manage relationships and coordinate testing between onshore & offshore teams
Additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent technology field
4+ years hands-on quality assurance experience including functional, regression testing, developing, implementing & maintaining automated test scripts
2+ years Salesforce experience, Salesforce certification beneficial ADM 201/ADM 211/ADM 301/DEV 401/DEV 501
2+ years hands-on experience with development tools such as JIRA (ticket management), Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution), Jenkins (Continuous integration/deployment), Selenium (automated testing), Salesforce Metadata & tooling API (development)
SQL, ETL experience required to establish test environments
Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle
Experience working with onshore & offshore development teams - ability to coordinate cross-functional work towards task completion
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Close attention to detail & the ability to work independently
Job Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a highly customized Salesforce.com environment
Capable of demonstrating a very sharp learning curve to become productive, enthusiastic and dependable quickly
Knowledge of the organizational structure and culture to help build relationships with key stakeholders and user groups
Excellent decision making, communication, motivational and presentation skills, ability to collaborate with leadership team
Be able to multitask, commit to meeting targets with competing priorities and deadlines across multiple key stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills, able to research and understand an undocumented set up and application testing of developed functionality
Detail & results oriented, takes the initiative and makes things happen in a fast paced go-live environment
Experience working throughout SDLC including both Agile and Waterfall solution delivery methods
