Software Engineer - C/Linux
+ 6 month initial contract - could be longer term
+ Requires SC Clearance
+ £ per day - Dependent on experience
Leading Defence security organisation has an urgent requirement for a Software Engineer for an initial 6 month contract.
The role:
+ Analysing requirements and specifying the software solution and work breakdown
+ Preparing software architectural and detailed design UML Models and documentation
+ Generating source code to implement all aspects of the software detailed design
+ Controlling and reviewing work of the members of their team (where a team exists)
+ Integration of software onto the target platform
Essential Experience:
+ SW Design & Implementation for secure data or voice network communications equuipment
+ Process driven software development
+ Full project life cycle
+ experience in software methodlogies
Essential skills:
+ Linux software in C, including Kernel drivers and Embedded ARM
+ Strong understanding of requirement capture, and work packqage definition and estimation
