MS EXCHANGE ADMINISTRATOR
Edelway SA (for French speaking part of CH)/AG (for German speaking part) is a Swiss IT services company.
We are now looking for a MS Exchange Administrator to join our international team at our global multinational client in Brindisi, Italy on a contract of 6 months with possible extension. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required and knowledge of Italian is desirable.
THE ROLE:
The consultant will provide Exchange Administration and help with designing and implementation of policies and procedures consistent with the organization goals, industry best practices, and regulatory.
YOU WILL:
* Administrator - Incumbent responsibilities include design, implementation, administration and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange 2013 based messaging infrastructure in client's partners operations. The incumbent is responsible for implementing, managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools, as well as assisting with the solution of the problems related to the client or client's partners data centers as a part of the incident management process.
* Deployment Team Member - The incumbent is responsible for design, final testing and deployment of email solutions and related systems as well as all related technical documentation as part of release management process.
* Analyst - Incumbent will be responsible for analysing the technical needs of customer, end-users and all stakeholders while helping identify technical problems and propose solutions as a part of problem management process.
* Planner - Incumbent must be able to analyze client's partners overall requirements and develop a comprehensive plans that meets overall goals and objectives as a part of service level management process.
* Perform other duties, as required
YOUR PROFILE:
* At least 3 years of experience in managing, operating and maintaining a large, multi-site and complex messaging infrastructure based on Microsoft Exchange.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
* Very good knowledge of MS Active Directory services in a complex environment;
* Exposure in migration projects such as Domino to Exchange and related integration features are highly desirable.
* Knowledge of SMTP Relay, Mail Gateway, Spam and Virus filtering systems (Symantec Mail Gateway, IronPort or similar)
* Good Knowledge of Lync 2013 and other related Messaging and Unified Communication solutions.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) is an advantage.
* Experience in Scripting, in particular Power Shell Scripting to automate processes in MS Exchange;
* Good understanding of Management and Monitoring tools such as SCOM
* Experience in managing and supporting VMware farms is highly desirable.
* Good experience in drafting technical documents
* Exposure in Information Security Management System (ISMS: ISO 27001), formal ITIL framework training with certification is required.
* Experience in project management with PRINCE 2 desirable
* Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems.
* Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team of diverse skills.
* Good communication and presentation skills.
