Businesstaff has been retained by a San Diego County client to locate them a Server Administrator responsible for installing, administering, and optimizing enterprise level Servers in a high performance manufacturing architecture environment.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining server environment 99.9% uptime.
- Active Directory administration.
- VMWare administration.
- Disaster recovery and planning.
- Creating & maintaining server procedure documentation.
REQUIRED:
- Hands-on experience with IBM and Dell Servers.
- Windows Server 2003, 2008 and other operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of VMware.
- Working knowledge of storage technologies, such as: SAN or NAS, Active Directory/Global Catalogue.
- Knowledge of Windows platform(s), as well as MS SQL, Oracle relational database(s), and virtualization systems.
Compensation is $37.50 to $42.50/HR.
