Description
Our client, a Glasgow based financial services organisation are recruiting for a Contract OS/400 Technical Consultant for an initial 3 - 6 month contract. The successful person will be responsible for providing support for all test environment services & OS/400 technical expertise to enable effective delivery of a wide range of testing commitments. This person would be liaising with Senior Specialists and Environments Managers to provide technical advice and guidance & will engage with a range of stakeholders.
In order to be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate the following core skills and experience:
*Testing Environment Experience within the retail banking sector
*Knowledge of Equation Core Banking system
*Skilled in WebSphere MQ
*OS/400 technical specialism with knowledge in the administration of OS/400
*Qualified to an appropriate level in OS/400 Operating System
Ideally you will be Test Certified (ISTQB or ISEB), be a confident communicator and be able to engage with a range of stakeholders across Business and IT areas.
