MAC Engineer, Linux, Sysadmin, Systems Administration, Systems Administrator, MAC, Network, TCP/IP, ACMT
My client is urgently looking for an experienced MAC/Linux Engineer who has experience supporting a busy Linux/MAC environment an initial 12 month contract based in Surrey.
Our ideal candidate will ideally be MAC certified and be well versed in supporting/administering Linux based systems/Servers whilst being comfortable supporting a user based that is predominantly Apple Mac focused (80%).
Working as a technical lead, you will be the "go to" person for all Linux/MAC based queries, whilst also managing small projects for customers/users. These may include Office moves, Infrastructure design, Software Updates/Upgrades and preparation for Trade shows etc.
This role would suit a Linux Sysadmin who is looking for a position that will allow them to provide multiple support streams whilst still being a specialist within Systems Administration.
Any previous Project Management experience will be highly regarded, however we are looking for a Systems Administrator with PM experience opposed to a PM with some Systems Administrator exposure.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong level of MAC support experience in a commercial environment and have worked with current MAC software releases.
