Release Manager - Huizingen - €490 p/d - 6 months rolling
A Global Insurance company based just outside Brussels are currently looking for a Release Manager on an initial 6 month contract.
(Fench and/or Dutch speaking is required; English is required for written communication).
Targets
Targets are the following ones:
- Lower the time and effort spent on releases
- Increase quality of our releases
- Evolve towards cloud deployment
Required skills
To achieve these targets, we look for someone experienced in:
- Setup of automated and continuous release and deployment process (eg: Jenkins, Docker)
- Clouding
- Test methodologies and tools (Java technologies)
- Agile (Scrum)
Role and responsibilities
- Lead project team to evolve towards cloud deployment
- Accountable/Responsible for the release management life cycle of multiple applications inside our portfolio
- Improve delivery management by providing tools and services to development team
- Work in collaboration with development and operation teams
- Setup an efficient process of continuous build/test/deploy activities
- Coach development and operation teams regarding long-term maintenance
