Senior Oracle DBA - Daily Rate Contract - Dublin - Roles x2
Experienced & highly skilled Oracle DBA (x2) required for an excellent 6 month rolling contract in Dublin. This Financial Services client is keen to get a talented, hard working Oracle DBA to join their expanding DBA team to be the subject matter expert when it comes to technical and process issues, database back up & recovery and administration tasks.
This will include: provision of new databases; deployment of application schemas onto the database; general change life cycle support through all project environments; supporting operational and performance testing.
Critical Technical Experience/Skills:
Expert in Oracle 11g database administration, Oracle RAC, ASM, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN. Minimum 7 year experience in these technologies and features.
Experienced in Oracle 12c and new features (eg Multi-tenancy PDBs)
Expert in database performance analysis and tuning
Additional Technical Experience/Skills:
Highly experienced in high availability and clustered technologies and environments
Highly experienced in Oracle database backup and recovery support and in particular RMAN
Highly experienced in Unix environment, particularly Sun/Oracle SPARC Solaris
Experienced in standard OEM packages including Tuning and Diagnostics
Knowledge & experience of other DBMS technologies an advantage.
