Proteus Europe is searching for a Security Software Operator who has come from a Technical Support / PC Support background for one of our clients based in West London.

Our Client :-
They are part of a globally known high tech leader in industry with a range of products spanning the globe. This part of the global corporation is developing next generation Biometric solutions which we will all be using in the future to provide FIDO (Fast identity online) to perform online transactions or perhaps unlock your car via your mobile phone. Your New role :-

As an IT Security Software Operator, you will be expected to provide in-house technical support for Security related Software to our client. You will be the main point of contact for a selection of customers and deal with their technical queries in a professional and timely manner. This will be via e-mail or phone. - Onsite- means that you may work in our clients huge office. However, working pattern might be obviously in-house support without visiting other offices.

- PC security software support for UK and whole European subsidiaries
- Facility security software support (Card Entrance system) only for UK office
- Training for using and managing PC security software

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Fluent in English essential
- Good inter-personal skills

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-
- Solid experience in customer technical support
- Junior employee with approximately 5 years of IT experience
- Experience in PC hardware and software troubleshoot
- Experience in customer support for Windows OS
- Knowledge of Computer Network and Communication
- Customer approachable attitude and a customer focused person
- Team player
- Ability to analyze logically to resolve technical issues.
- Knowledge of PC Hardware and software
- MS Windows (for Server OS and PC OS) skills be able to troubleshoot hardware and software problems in Windows OS
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive attitude to meet and achieve the customers requirement.
- Fluent, both written and spoken, in English

Desirable Skills :-
- Experience on software testing or operation
- Good understanding and practical knowledge of IT security (Preferred).
- Knowledge of DB(database) management or operation
- Physical security knowledge such as Card Entrance System or CCTV
- Experienced Windows operating systems and security
- Experience on Database (MS-SQL) (Preferred)
- Various Experiences of working in customer support (Preferred)
- Experience of operating CCTV, Card Entrance System, or security devices
- Experience of training delivery or lecturer in IT technical area
