Senior Nokia LTE NPO Analysis Engineer (LTE optimization, acceptance, clusters, NPO, KPI's, Tems Ascom, Actix, A-LU PM tool/server)
Job description:
Day to day LTE radio network optimization tasks along with radio network optimization team (for both, ALU and also NOKIA techno), consisting in:
- defined radio KPIs observation, evaluation and analysis on cluster basis (KPIs observation per region)
- follow-up of contractually agreed KPI levels to ensure all KPI thresholds are met (ensuring main corporate defined KPI levels are above threshold)
- KPI support of new deployments, in particular (so far for A-LU technology/potentially for upcoming NOKIA swap):
a. KPI site acceptance for new LTE sites
b. newly deployed sites KPI verification
c. cluster verification
d. (all based on corporate agreed thresholds/levels of KPIs)
- supporting customer in drive test procedures and onsite measurements
- drive tests evaluation (cluster or regional basis/single site verification basis)
- support with vendor KPI definitions and mapping to customer quality KPIs (for customer external tools and end 2 end quality external tools)
Main responsibilities:
- daily KPI monitoring with customer teams
- isolating and addressing radio quality issues based on KPI analysis and observation
- vendor KPI definition support
- support for drive tests
- deployment support and new sites KPI acceptance process support
- ISO KPI verification during network upgrade (uncovering and isolating KPI regressions during upgrades)
- covering "day to day" optimization questions raised by customer
Other responsibilities:
- on demand troubleshooting of network radio quality issues,
- contributing to radio quality issues resolution by adding value from optimization viewpoint
Interfaces during workflow and activities:
- reporting to customer optimization team manager
- based in customer radio optimization team (side by side with customer optimization engineers), while also interfacing other customer Radio Access Network teams (RAN engineering, radio design, drive-testers and field customer engineers)
- interacting also with non-customer/vendor subject matter experts (vendor RAN domain architect, vendor network planning and optimization experts, vendor solution architects)
Tools skills and experiences:
- Master skills in TEMS Ascom (TEMS logs analyses, drive tests procedures setup, drive test scripts setup)
- Master skills ACTIX (massive cluster drive test and KPI evaluation)
- Master skills in Network Performance Optimizer tool (A-LU PM tool/server)
- Good skills in various network analyzers
