UNIX/Solaris Consultant - SAP Upgrade Project, Solaris 10, Sun/Oracle M Series, Live Upgrade - Security Cleared - Contract - Derby
The successful candidate will be required to perform Solaris Live Upgrades of an existing SAP service.
Required Skills
- Must hold current Security Clearance
- Knowledge of Sun/Oracle M Series hardware
- Must have experience of a major version upgrade, particularly from Solaris 10 to Solaris 11
- Design and implementation experience of Solaris Zones (Solaris 10)
- Experience of Oracle Solaris Live Upgrade including where sparse and non-sparse Zones are used
- Demonstrable experience of Veritas Cluster Server - setup and operation
- Experience of working on systems hosting SAP ERP, an understanding of SAP environment requirements in terms of storage, users, project settings etc. would be extremely beneficial
