Senior Developer; BEA Weblogic Server WLS, Unix, Linux Shell
Senior Weblogic Server WLS Developer sought to be part of the Integration/Deployment team at client site in Helsinki or Stockholm or Finland. As a WLS Developer you will be receiving the application packages from Developers and wrap it into Deployment tool and Deploy on test, pre-prod and prod. Also to be a part of debugging when problems arise. Secure documentation and also operational documentation must be in place and secure knowledge transfer to our 24/7 on call team.
We value that you have experience in performance measurement and tuning both on Platform and Infrastructure layers so that you can bring extended input to the platform development.
The role will involve the following tasks;
- Install WLS in high availability/continuous availability design, both on Linux and Windows hosts on Servers for all environments (dev., test, pre-prod and prod)
- Configuration and tuning of WebLogic according to best practice for all environments (dev., test, pre-prod and prod)
- Deploy Vendor code drops on WLS for all environments (dev., test, pre-prod and prod)
- Migrate WLS code between environments, including preparation in production
- Identify issue and problem in WLS/Linux Servers for all environments (dev., test, pre-prod and prod)
- Review WLS configuration changes and support test activities related to WLS tasks for all environments (dev., test, pre-prod and prod)
The ideal candidate for this role, must have the following skill set;
- WLS Expert, able to develop in Oracle 11g and 12c.
- Knowledge about OBIEE Cluster set-up in 12c
- Automatic code deployment knowledge using installer tool (ie Ninjago)
- Knowledge about WLS in Operations
- Nice to have programming skills Unix/Linux Shell.
- Nice to have knowledge of ITIL and/or Remedy
- Very good communication skills in English (working language)
