MS MDS (IFRS15) Consultant
My client is implementing the accounting standards by IFRS15. For the data transformation (Data Preparation Layer) was chosen the Teradata technology, for the calculation and accounting documents adjustment (Revenue Recognition Engine) was chosen a SAP based product. The development of the above mentioned components is in its final stage.
For maintenance of the controlling table of keys was chosen the MS MDS technology, which is going to be used by the employees of the finance department and which is going to be integrated both with DPL and RRE. Creation of this component is the request.
Desired profile of the Consultant
- higher degree of education
- good English
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL MDS, practical experience with using the version MSSQL 2016; hands-on job with MDS expected.
- Knowledge of Teradata technology
- Analytical abilities including the ability to solve possible impacts of the solution
- Ability to communicate with technical IT workers for the IA design and with business people for the proposal
- General experience with master data proposal and usage
- Advantage is the knowledge of EDW
Desired output:
- To process the requirements for controlling tables of keys definition for the IFRS15 (document)
- Defining of the structure
- Defining the keys for MDS records versioning and for DPL back-and-forth records transfer (DPL = Data Preparation Layer - the IFRS15 integration layer for Teradata technology)
- Labels defining (important for displaying of the referred-to tables of keys)
- Business rules definition
- Make a proposal of tables of keys update processes, get a business users agreement (document)
- How the records in tables of keys are created (who and under which conditions is allowed to create it - automatically, manually, etc.)
- How the records are updated - which attributes, who does it and how etc...
- How the records are deleted
- Proposal and agreement of IA for all the interfaces (revision of third-party created docs)
- Data types, mandatory issues, data transfer logic - increments vs full, availability confirmation, deliverance confirmation, etc.
- Make the technical design and development in the MDS (prototype + installing package for deployment)
- Detail Design document (RMS)
- Entities creation
- Business rules setup
- Make the design and development of integration services (prototype + installing package for deployment)
- Creation of import packages
- Creation of export packages
- Testing (unit testing a systesting)
- Support the integration MDS solution with DPL layer on the Teradata technology
