Tangent International are urgently looking for a Civil Works Supervisor to work 6 month extendable contracts based in South Africa (Cape Town)JOB DESCRIPTION
Civil Works Supervisor
- Candidates MUST have at least 3 years of CW experience with Fibre Project
- Must be a team player and effectively manage the sub-contractors.
- Able to work overtime
Responsibilities:
- To prepare Standard Technical Documents and responsible for quality affair in respect of civil works for FTTS Project.
- Preparation of scope of work as per BOQ and quality affairs of civil works of FTTS Project.
- To prepare and develop Standard Technical Documents ie specifications, Scope of work as per BOQ, review and close comparison of such documents with Planning department,
- To conduct/participate in technical evaluation activities,
- To solve serious quality issues.
- To participate pre-qualification activities.
-100% responsible for development of technical documents and solving quality issues.
- To report his/her supervisor on daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.
- Prepare and develop Standard Technical Documents
- Supervisory authority exercised on subordinates which include a total number of 09 engineers including the engineers posted in regional offices.
