Senior Support Integration Engineer

The successful candidates will form part of a small team that has a primary role of increasing the availability and reducing the through life cost of ownership of the Typhoon aircraft for all customers.

The candidates main responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing, understanding and interpreting arisings data to generate a view of equipment's impact on Availability, Aircraft on ground, Maintenance burden,
  • Analysing, understanding and interpreting maintenance tasks and data to understand the opportunity to optimise the MPOL of the platform based on in-service experience.
  • Analysing, understanding and interpreting aircraft maintenance and supply chain information to identify root causes of RMT issues;
  • Holding regular reviews with the customer to agree prioritisation and discuss implementation progress.
  • Chairing root cause investigation meetings to progress investigations into RMT issues.
  • Applying investigative techniques in order to isolate the root cause of in-service issues.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders (inc Customers and Suppliers) across the End to End Support Solution to investigate and identify the root cause of an issue.
  • Integrate an effective solution that is technically feasible, low cost and safe, and drive it through to implementation In-Service.

As a Senior Support Integration Engineer your key skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • A Degree or HNC/D or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • Engineering Knowledge, coupled with cost reduction, ROI experience
  • Experience in an aerospace/Avionics environment with a sound knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance activities will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • IT literate with particular emphasis on MS Office Suite
